A Walk on the Beach . . .

After spending most of the day in my little nest in the grass,

and in my cabana,

while the girls were sunbathing,

We went for a fun walk.

I really like the beach.

 Me two nights ago, totally passed out.

An overcast day on the island.

I did a lot of relaxing in various places.

The sun came out for a little while.

Learning to Swim!

I swam in the pool!

Marshall gave me a doggy life jacket.

He showed me how to paddle around in it.

I'm not sure I like getting all wet,

but it sure was nice and cool in the water.

My favorite part was hanging out on the float.

A Mostly Good Day . . .

That's me in my car seat on our road trip.

It was a lazy morning.

Raining!

We all stayed in bed until 1:00.

Once the sun came out, I got to go outside and play.

But then, I rubbed my face in something stinky, and mommy made me have a bath!!

I was NOT a happy dog.

I recovered from that trauma, though.

We went to dinner at the Fishers' house, and I saw my cousins.

Here's me in Kidd's bowl. That's Blue, watching me.

Blue is a big girl, but she played nicely with me, and, anyway, I'm not a scaredy dog.

Mommy says I get to go swimming in the pool.

I'm ready.

It's All Fun and Games on Sullivan's Island.

My new bed is really nice.

I like this little tennis ball, even though my mouth is too small to grab it.

I think it's really fun to hang out here in the bushes and chew on the plants.

I hung out under mom's lounge chair for most of the day.  It's hot.

Here I am resting after a long walk on the beach (fun fun fun).

Mom was trying to videotape me,

but I wasn't going to cooperate, this time.

I went after the strap of her new waterproof camera.
